Мотоциклист, сапожник и туалеты: 10 необычных памятников в Запорожье

Запорожье, конечно, сложно назвать городом с большим количеством необычных арт-объектов и памятников. Креатива городу заводов и проспекта явно не хватает. Но всё же интересных и необычных точек на карте города хватает, о них мы сегодня и поговорим.

Исчезнувшие люди

Этот необычный памятник появился в городе в 2009 году. Состоит из трех гранитных плит, с вырезанными силуэтами мужчины, женщины и двух детей. Автором скульптуры стал канадец, меннонит по происхождению Пол Эпп. По замыслу автора, вырезанные силуэты символизируют фотографии, с которых пропали их герои.

Посвящен он меннонитам, погибшим в ходе сталинских репрессий. Кроме того, в те годы некоторые люди вымарывали или вырезали с фотографий тех, кого арестовали органы НКВД. Быть на одной фотографии с “врагами народа” — смертельный риск в сталинские времена.

Расположен объект по улице Розенталь, в сквере возле здания Запорожского районного совета.

Памятник отлично передает трагизм тех далеких лет

Памятник туалетам

Стоит сразу уточнить: это скорее народное название памятника. Официально он назывался “Стелла металлургов”, и был посвящен промышленной мощи запорожских предприятий. На высоком шпиле размещены фрагменты различных металлов, которые изготавливают запорожские предприятия. Установлен он в 2002 году.

Сомнительная архитектурная ценность объекта сразу вызвала непонимание у горожан. Даже сами работники заводов остались не в восторге от подобной “пропаганды” их работы. 8-метровая стелла получила от острословов прозвище “памятник погибшим туалетам”. Большинство запорожцев считают, что памятник лишь уродует аллею, расположенную вблизи пересечения двух проспектов – Соборного и Металлургов.

Такое название приклеилось к ней неспроста. До этой стеллы на её месте располагались туалеты, построенные по проекту архитектора Орлова еще до Второй мировой войны. Для строительства памятника их снесли. Впрочем, коммуникации под землёй остались, и однажды туалеты напомнили о себе грандиозным потопом из-за прорыва в трубе.

Мало кому из запорожцев этот памятник пришелся по душе

Памятник мотоциклистам

Этот памятник – один из самых молодых в городе, установили его в 2020 году. Находится объект возле Набережной магистрали, недалеко от парка Победы. Установили его местные байкеры в память о погибших в ДТП друзьях.

Изготовлен памятник из специального пластика, изнутри залит бетоном. Для большей презентабельности снаружи окрашен под бронзу. Мотоциклист как бы летит вверх по дороге, изображая всех тех, кто уже никогда не помчится по дорогам страны.

Памятник-путешественник и пропавшая собака

Сегодня памятник в виде пожилой семейной пары с собакой можно увидеть в сквере Театральном, напротив городского театра. Официальное его название – “памятник родителям”. Впервые этот памятник появился в городе еще в 2018 году, но тогда он находился в сквере в районе площади Профсоюзов. Тогда здесь планировалось организовать специализированную зону отдыха.

Но вскоре планы изменились, и уже через месяц скульптура переехала в сквер Театральный. Но на этом её приключения не закончились. Всё дело в том, что у ног семейной пары была и третья фигура – пуделя. 

После переезд скульптура не раз страдала от рук вандалов, её разрушали и обрисовывали. Однажды этого самого пуделя вообще украли, потом ситуация повторилась еще дважды. После этого пенсионеры лишились собаки окончательно. Снова четырехлапое животное появилось тут уже в ноябре 2020 года, но собачка уже была другой. Почему собаке решили сменить породу – неизвестно.

Атомный шар

Ранее на этом месте можно было увидеть памятник комсомольцам. В рамках декоммунизации его решено было демонтировать. Убрали и памятник, и коммунистические лозунги на стелле возле него. Вскоре после демонтажа начали возводить новый объект, посвящённый героям-чернобыльцам.

Открыли памятник к 32 годовщине аварии на ЧАЭС, в апреле 2018 года. Автором идеи стал Рубен Оганисян. Что интересно: конкурс, по итогам которого и было решено возвести памятник именно в таком виде, прошел за 15 лет до возведения мемориала.

Шар, находящийся в центре композиции, символизирует вырвавшийся на свободу атом. Гранитная площадка, на которой находится шар – обожженную после взрыва землю, а рамка как бы разделяет время на “до” и “после” аварии.

Ленин, изменивший лицо

Когда-то давно это была одна из многочисленных и ничем не примечательных статуй Ленина. С началом декоммунизации неизвестные активисты решили не дожидаться действий властей и взять дело в свои руки. Так памятник лишился своей головы и в таком виде стоял на территории одной из баз отдыха, расположенных в районе Гребного канала, в зеленой зоне.

Затем шутники переделали памятник, снабдив его новой головой и раскрасив. Теперь памятник мало чем напоминал вождя пролетариата. Новый его облик напоминает многим о бывшем президенте Петре Порошенко. Действительно, что-то общее есть!

Впрочем, многие, говорят что больше памятник похож не на Порошенко, а на Геннадия Хазанова

Памятник яйцу

Необычный объект в виде яйца-писанки можно увидеть на острове Хортица. Еще до нашей эры на его месте находилось древнее языческое святилище. При раскопках выяснилось, что оно имело форму яйца. 

Кроме того, обычай расписывать яйца красками известен на нашей территории еще с X столетия. Даже сегодня сложно себе представить праздник без “писанок” и “крашанок”.

Памятник установили еще в 2007 году. Тогда окраску памятника выполнили, ориентируясь на национальные традиции, но с оглядкой на то, чтобы цвета не соответствовали партийной символике существовавших в те годы партий. В 2013 раскраску обновили и немного изменили. Сейчас сюда часто приезжают молодожены для свадебных фотосессий. Также существует легенда о том, что если во время беременности часто приходить к яйцу, то ребенок будет симпатичнее.

Напоминание о недострое

Извечная проблема Запорожья – недостроенные мосты через Днепр. Достроить их обещают уже 16 лет. В 2019 году, чтобы напомнить очередным властям про обещания их предшественников, запорожские активисты решили установить стеллу на левом берегу Днепра, вблизи долгостроя. 


На стелле указана информация о том, что стройка много раз останавливалась, “замораживалась”, и требовала все больше денег. Заканчивается текст призывом все-таки достроить мост.

Внешне стелла ничего особенного из себя не представляет, интересен скорее текст на ней, в том числе даты строительства мостов. Указана дата начала строительства, а на месте окончания строительства – многоточие и знак вопроса. Неизвестно, повлияла ли стелла – но в 2020 был, наконец, закончен первый мост – по нему осуществляется движение с Бабурки на остров Хортицу.

Интересно, какая же цифра по итогу будет с другой стороны?

Память о войне

В Запорожье достаточно много памятников, напоминающих о Второй Мировой войне. В основном все они – советского периода и довольно стандартные: танк Т-34-85 на площади Университетской (бывшей Советской), самолет на бульваре Шевченко, гаубица МЛ-20 возле плотины и зенитное 85-мм орудие в районе ДК запорожского трансформаторного завода. Также есть и памятник жертвам нацизма в виде скорбящей матери на улице Копенкина.

Но вот памятник погибшим советским военнопленным несколько выбивается из этого ряда. Он представляет собой стеллу, на вершине которой находится скульптура ангела. Памятник был установлен в 1996 году в районе поселка Мостоотряд, неподалеку от второго моста имени инженера Преображенского.

Точных данных о том, сколько людей здесь погибло нет до сих пор. Но по приблизительным оценкам, их число достигает нескольких тысяч.

Памятник сапожнику

Этот необычный объект появился в городе в 2013 году. Находится он возле частной обувной мастерской “Скороход”. Поставили его в целях рекламы этой самой мастерской. 

Сапожник занят своей работой

Изготовлен памятник из специальной огнеупорной глины, но окрашен краской “под бронзу”. Памятник очень оригинальный, ведь редко где можно увидеть памятник людям этой профессии.
