«Торпедо» Запорожье: команда, легко собиравшая стадион

Сегодня футбольное Запорожье представлено лишь одной командой, да и та имеет луганскую прописку. Речь идет о “Заре”, которая с 2014 года вынужденно переехала в наш город из оккупированного Луганска. А когда-то в высшей лиге Украины одновременно выступало целых две команды из Запорожья. Про “Металлург” большинство запорожцев еще помнит, тем более что продолжаются попытки “реанимировать” команду. А вот про “Торпедо” большинство уже забыло, и сегодня мы постараемся напомнить об этой команде.

Заводская футбольная команда

При советских заводах часто организовывались различные спортивные сообщества и коллективы. Не исключением стал и запорожский “Коммунар”. При будущем заводском Доме культуры была организована команда под названием “Металлист”. 

В дальнейшем для нее возле завода был построен отдельный стадион, получивший аналогичное название. После войны коллектив дважды менял название: сначала на “Трактор”, а позднее на “Сельхозмаш”. Звезд с неба команда не хватала, поскольку коллектив был по сути любительским. Не было ни соответствующих специалистов, ни опыта. На стадионе нередко можно было увидеть пасущихся коз, а зимой его вообще заливали водой и получался каток.

Появление “Торпедо”

В начале 1980-х годов руководство предприятия решило поднять престиж завода спортивными достижениями. Инициаторами создания новой футбольной команды стали Степан Кравчун (на тот момент главный инженер завода) и Николай Ластовецкий (секретарь парткома). Дела на заводе в тот момент шли “не очень”, требовался какой-то положительный импульс. 

Им и должна была стать футбольная команда. При ее формировании предпочтение отдавалось именно игрокам из Запорожья. В самом начале пришлось играть на старом стадионе, но позже силами завода его перестроили. Курировал эту работу Кравчун, но фактически выполняли ее работники завода. Каждый цех получил свой участок и зону ответственности на стадионе, и к поставленному сроку все задачи были решены. Появилось на стадионе и цветное табло – подобного элемента тогда не было даже на домашних стадионах многих команд, выступавших в более “престижных” лигах СССР. 

Перед матчем

Появление табло, кстати, имело интересную предысторию. Купили его в Венгрии, но не напрямую – валюты для этого не было. Обустроили все следующим образом. На шахты Кузбасса была отправлена партия автомобилей “Таврия”, а с этих шахт отправили груз в Венгрию. Венгры же отправили в Запорожье то самое табло. Подключили его уже запорожские инженеры и техники.

Первым тренером команды был Александр Гуржеев. С ним “Торпедо” смогло очень быстро подняться от статуса любительской команды до уровня коллектива, который выиграл Кубок области. Впоследствии в команде еще пару раз менялся главный тренер, пока “к рулю” не пришел харьковчанин Евгений Лемешко. 

Договор с “Динамо”

В свое время команда из Запорожья должна была завоевать право на путевку во вторую лигу. По задумке Валерия Лобановского, выиграть эту путевку должна была команда из Ирпеня. На ее базе (благо, она тоже называлась “Динамо”) легендарный тренер планировал организовать дубль своей команды. Говоря современным языком, это был бы фарм-клуб для киевских динамовцев.

Для успеха этого предприятия было сделано многое. Сам турнир проводился в Ирпене, а судьи благоволили “нужной” команде. Все должен был решить финальный матч, в котором за первое место соревновались “Торпедо” и “Динамо”. Судья на поле активно помогал динамовцам, да и после перерыва силы стали подводить игроков из Запорожья, хотя первый тайм закончился со счетом 2:2. 

Спуску та команда никому не давала

После игры довольные функционеры, обеспечившие нужный результат, подошли к запорожской делегации. Киевляне заверили: “ в следующем сезоне вы будете победителями”. Так оно и вышло, в следующем сезоне “Торпедо” вышло во вторую лигу и продолжило свой путь к футбольным вершинам. 

Высшая лига

Заняв нужное место во второй лиге, “Торпедо” получило право на место в высшей лиге чемпионата по футболу уже в независимой Украине. Соперники были грозными, и самым грозным было, конечно, киевское Динамо. Кроме того, хотелось обойти и запорожский “Металлург”, который опекали и горсовет, и ряд городских предприятий. Кроме того, “Металлург” был и гораздо более опытной командой, уже имевшей опыт игры с лидерами чемпионата СССР. Например, “Металлургу” в 1991 году удалось обыграть самих московских спартаковцев!

Поэтому рвения “торпедовцам” было не занимать. В первых двух дерби победу одержали именно футболисты с “АвтоЗаЗа”, притом второй матч выдался особенно разгромным. “Металлург” проиграл со счетом 3:0, но голов могло бы быть и больше.

Коллектив на домашнем стадионе

Но самым неприятным соперников “Торпедо” стало для динамовцев Киева. Первые пять сезонов киевляне не смогли ни разу выиграть в Запорожье матч у “Торпедо”. Довольно быстро взошла звезда молодого нападающего запорожцев, таджикистанца Арсена Авакова. Полный тезка нынешнего министра МВД в сезоне 1994/1995 стал лучшим бомбардиром чемпионата Украины.

Тренером в Высшей лиге был уже Игорь Надеин. Лемешко ушел после некоторого конфликта с руководством, суть которого не раскрыта до сих пор. Надеин до этого работал в “Металлурге”. Возможно, у команды было бы неплохое будущее, но на заводе сменилось руководство. Степана Кравчуна не зря называли “Генералом” и игроки, и персонал клуба. Он старался не пропускать ни одной игры, и не раз присутствовал на тренировках. Правда, в игровой процесс он не вмешивался.

Закат клуба

После ухода Кравчуна команда стала никому не нужна. Можно сказать, она осталась без хозяина и вскоре покатилась вниз по наклонной. При этом оставались в ней и талантливые футболисты. Например, Александра Косырина пригласили в киевское “Динамо”, притом что он за весь чемпионат не забил ни одного мяча. Пожалуй, в истории киевлян это был первый футболист с подобной статистикой, попавший в состав “Динамо”.

Не біло даже денег, чтобы заявиться на последний в истории “Торпедо” чемпионат в высшей лиге. По его итогам запорожцы скатились на последнее место, а после этого скатились в первую лигу. 

Сезон в первой лиге проходил, на удивление, успешно. В команду пришли новые футболисты, и под руководством Леонида Колтуна началось восхождение на вершину таблицы. Под конец чемпионата стало ясно, что продолжения не будет – команду лишили финансирования. И тем не менее “Торпедо” добыло путевку в высшую лигу. Но, к сожалению, от нее пришлось отказаться – команду расформировали.

Кроме турнирной, команда выполняла и задачу рекламы автозавода

Причин развала было много. Пожалуй, главная среди них – нежелание нового руководства завода заниматься командой. Если для Степана Кравчуна (который ушел с поста директора завода) “Торпедо” было 49-м цехом завода (всего на заводе было 48 цехов), и футбольный клуб был любимым детищем – то для его сменщиков футбол не был хоть сколько-нибудь интересен. Все отговорки про то, что пришедшие на завод корейцы “не дали денег на команду” – нецелесообразны. Ведь взяли нового тренера, пригласили новых футболистов! Разве делают так перед закрытием команды по финансовым соображениям? Нет, тут явно было что-то другое.

Что осталось после “Торпедо”

В первую очередь, это стадион. На нем некоторое время выступал “Металлург”, на то время пока стадион этой команды был закрыт на реконструкцию. Бывший стадион “Торпедо” печально прославился на всю Украину (да и не только) в мае 2002 года. Тогда во время матча между “Металлургом” и киевским “Динамо” стало плохо легендарному Валерию Лобановскому. Валерия Васильевича доставили в ону из запорожских больниц, где оказали всю возможную помощь. Но в этот раз спасти жизнь Лобановского не удалось, и 13 мая он умер.

Также осталась работать и детская футбольная школа. Из нее вышли, например, Алексей Гай и Тарас Степаненко – в будущем игроки донецкого “Шахтера” и сборной Украины.

А также сохранилась и память у старших поколений запорожцев. На матчи этой команды ходили не по разнарядке на предприятии или учреждении, а по желанию. Многие работники автомобилестроительного завода приходили сюда самостоятельно, чтобы посмотреть на своих любимцев. Тем более что все игроки “Торпедо” номинально числились на заводе и получали зарплату как его работники. Коллектив регулярно устраивали экскурсии на предприятие, и футболисты знали – ради кого и зачем они играют. И за таких игроков как Роман Бондаренко или Игорь Черкун как работникам завода, так и запорожцам в целом краснеть никогда не приходилось.
