Звісно, усі визначні пам’ятки Запоріжжя за 1 день охопити складно. Але ми зосередимося лише на тих, що знаходяться неподалік Соборного проспекту – однієї з найдовших міських магістралей не лише в Україні, а й у цілій Європі. Відправитися маршрутом можна від залізничного вокзалу або від автостанції. Головне – вибрати транспорт, що рухається проспектом у бік Запорізького річкового порту.
Насамперед варто оглянути старе місто – цегляні будинки старого Олександрівська. Саме таку назву колись носило місто над Дніпром. Вони здебільшого зосереджені на ділянці між Автовокзалом та театром імені Магара. Далі карта маршруту веде через площу Фестивальну та бульвар Тараса Шевченка.
Потім – повз площу Олександра Поляка та проспекту Металургів – ми потрапимо до Музею ретроавтомобілів «Фаєтон». Закінчиться день біля Дніпра, у Музеї зброї. Фінальна зупинка нашої подорожі – могутній Дніпрогес. Але якщо залишиться час, можна відвідати Хортицю та піднятись на пагорб із колом єдності.
Побачити Запоріжжя таким, яким він був у 19 столітті, можна лише на старих фото. На сьогодні так звана «стара частина» міста потребує реставрації, а частини будівель взагалі вже немає. Сьогодні це приблизно територія Олександрівського району. Наприклад, колись у цій будівлі знаходилась земська управа.
А тепер тут на вул. Троїцькій, 29 (орієнтир – зупинка «Драмтеатр»), розташований Обласний краєзнавчий музей. А будівля визнана пам’яткою архітектури національного значення. Між іншим, недалеко (10 хв. пішки), на вул. Поштова, знаходиться в буквальному сенсі індустріальна пам’ятка – перша запорізька електростанція.
Площа Фестивальна. На наступну зупинку в нашому маршруті можна дістатися будь-яким видом міського транспорту, що прямує Соборним проспектом до Фестивальної площі. Фонтан на центральній міській площі здавна був окрасою міста. Загалом площа Фестивальна – головне місце зборів запорожців як на свята, так і з причин політичних мітингів чи громадських віче. Колись тут височіла Вознесенська гора, свідок давньої історії Запоріжжя.
А біля Запорізької обласної державної адміністрації, яка знаходиться поряд, фіксують найновішу історію міста. Тут проходив запорізький Євромайдан. Також тут деякий час стояв жартівливий пам’ятник снігуру. Запорожці сміються, що це перша у світі пам’ятка інтернет-мему. Появу мема 2014 року спровокував зрадник Володимир Рогов, розповівши у прямому ефірі російського ток-шоу про те, що в одній запорізькій школі начебто вчать годувати жовто-синіх синиць та вбивати снігурів із червоними грудками. Запорожці на такий абсурд відповіли з гумором. Минулого року нові хазяї Рогова запустили ракети по Запоріжжю, які впали якраз поряд із площею.
Виїжджаючи далі проспектом Соборним, виходимо на бульварі Тараса Шевченка. Цей бульвар та прилеглий до нього парк, годинник та фонтан закоханих – улюблені місця побачень для запорізької молоді. Миритися закохані приходять на лаву примирення. Особливо чарівно все це виглядає при вечірньому освітленні. Монументальна будівля навпроти – міська рада. Також поряд знаходиться парк скульптур «Обереги».
На площі Поляка (це наступна зупинка на проспекті, якщо їхати у бік річкового порту) можна побачити головні пам’ятки багатьох запорізьких молодят – модернізовані фонтани, що танцюють. Оскільки поряд реєструють шлюби, багато запорізьких сімей робить свої перші подружні фото саме тут. А коли настає вечір, площа перетворюється взагалі на щось казкове.
Далі нам потрібно від площі Поляка проїхати проспектом ще одну зупинку – і відкривається проспект Металургів, де знаходиться стела Металургів. Це одна з центральних міських транспортних розв’язок: звідси запорожці, що мешкають у Хортицькому та Заводському районах, вирушають додому. Щоправда, запоріжціцю стелу не дуже люблять і звуть її пам’ятником туалетам (на ї місці колись був громадський туалет).
Звідси ми трохи подорожуємо в глиб міста, скориставшись маршрутними автобусами № 14, 54, 73 або 83. Їхати треба у бік Заводського району (так званого Павло-Кічкаса) до зупинки «Укрграфіт». На розі вул. Виборзького та Ковальського провулка знаходиться Музей ретротехніки «Фаєтон». Його напевно варто відвідати туристам, які цікавляться автосправою та просто гарною технікою.
Наш одноденний маршрут цікавими місцями Запоріжжя завершується на зупинці «Запорізька Площа» (або «Річковий порт»). Тут зокрема чекає цікава приватна колекція – Музей історії зброї (пр. Соборний, 189).
А поряд починається шлях на Дніпрогес. Дніпровська гідроелектростанція є п’ятим щаблем нижньої частини каскаду гідроелектростанцій на Дніпрі. Це потужна споруда, прогулянка якою буде особливо приємною в теплий і сухий вечір. На жаль, зараз екскурсії на Дніпрогес не проводять, це місце є стратегічно важливим об’єктом. Але подивитися збоку можна і потрібно!
Якщо у вас залишиться час,то можна відвідати і острів Хортиця. Але зважайте на те, що наразі із міркувань безпеки доступ на нього суттєво обмежено, музей не працює, тому ви можете хіба шо піднятись на пагорб.
