Конечно, самый главный «мем» нашего города – это хронически строящиеся мосты через Днепр. Впрочем, возможно, эту проблему в ближайшие годы все-таки решат, один из мостов уже достроен. Тем не менее, запорожский край прославился в Интернете благодаря разнообразным смешным историям, породившим настоящие мемы.
Первого ноября 2006 года на форуме moto.kiev.ua появляется тема о продаже «мотороллера». Неизвестный разместил фото товара (на самом деле это был мотоцикл Suzuki GSF-S600), указал телефоны для связи. Далее из-за глюка на форму появилось два сообщения подряд с одинаковым текстом:
Моторолер не мой!!! Я просто разместил ОБЪЯВУ!
Это обстоятельство, как и то что мотоцикл обозвали мотороллером, вызвало бурную реакцию у посетителей профильного форума. В теме появились десятки страниц контента юмористического характера. На данный момент в теме 432 страницы. Тут можно увидеть картинки самого разнообразного содержания, стихи, и даже мини-сценарии театральных постановок.
С момент появления мема практически любое объявление в интернете, размещаемое сторонними лицами или посредниками, рисковало подвергнуться набегу любителей мема, забрасывавшего владельца сообщениеями вроде «мопед не мой, я просто разместил объяву» и т.п. На данный момент мем несколько подзабыт, но старожилы интернета все еще помнят его, и часто упоминают при общении.
Спросите, причем тут Запорожье? В объявлении было указано, что «моторолер» находится в Запорожской области. Позднее выяснилось, что товар находится в городе Днепрорудное Запорожской области. Кстати, мотоцикл так и не продали. Из-за распространения мема цена на него постоянно росла, а потом и сам хозяин передумал его продавать. Впрочем, где мотоцикл сегодня – неизвестно.

В 2016 году в рамках декоммунизации пал запорожский Ленин. Правда, оказалось это далеко не простым делом. Снести памятник с первого раза было сложно, поскольку его точная конструкция была неизвестна, а документация в Запорожье отсутствовала. В итоге сложилось так, что запорожский Ленин остался крупнейшим на территории Украины (если не считать памятники на оккупированной территории), и все еще продолжал указывать своей рукой путь к коммунизму.
Общественное мнение давило на мэра, да и принятый парламентом закон тоже обязывал действовать. В конечном итоге памятник все-таки снесли. Весь этот процесс освещался не только журналистами (как местных, так и центральных газет), но и от лица самого памятника. Кто-то зарегистрировал в сети Twitter аккаунт «Запорожский Ленин», и от имени самого монумента излагал историю противостояния сторонников и противников сноса памятника, а позднее – и мытарства работников, занимавшихся демонтажом.
В последующих сообщениях описывался последний путь истукана. Все иллюстрировалось фотографиями, сделанными как с земли, так и с коптеров. В одном из последних сообщений памятник пожаловался, что переночевал на новом месте хранения неплохо, но вот «перина твердоватая». На этой юморной ноте история памятника, а также аккаунта фактически и закончилась.

На российском ТВ выходило и выходит немало пропагандистских телепередач, вываливающих на зрителя массу информации сомнительного характера. А в горячем 2014 году количество таких передач и вовсе зашкаливало. В программе «Специальный корреспондент» от 12 декабря 2014 года присутствовал специально приглашенный гость, запорожский сепаратист Рогов. В эфире он озвучил вот такую информацию:
По поводу расчеловечивания. Обычная запорожская школа №106. Маленьким деткам в 3-4 классе учителя предлагают на уроке природоведения кормить синичек, потому что они желто-синие, украинские птицы. И всячески избегать поддержки, а еще лучше охотиться на снегирей, потому что снегирь — это птица, символизирующая клятую Россию.
Даже не живущие в Запорожье люди в основном высмеяли эту новость, восприняв ее как абсолютный бред. Тем более, живущие в самом Запорожье люди (а заодно учащиеся и родители школьников из 106-й) тоже сильно удивились озвученным Роговым фактам, якобы имевшим место.
В Сети начали появляться шуточные объявления о переделке меню некоторых ресторанов, в нем теперь якобы есть борщ со снегирями, сало из снегирей и т.д. в таком же духе. Некоторые шутники говорили, что скупают снегирей с целью последующего их убийства. Другие же напоминали Рогову (а заодно и всем поклонникам фейковых «жареных» новостей) что в нашей зоне снегири вообще не водятся. Встретить в Запорожье эту птицу – очень большая редкость.
По степени популярности мем не уступал знаменитому «распятому мальчику в трусиках» из Славянска, и быстро распространялся по сети. Но самое забавное и смешное даже не это, а то, что некоторые россияне и сторонники сепаратистов действительно всерьез поверили в данную «охоту на снегирей» и обсуждали ее между собой, как очередные злодейства «киевского режима».
Это лишь некоторые, самые известные запорожские интернет-истории. Хватает и других, но они в основном известны в узких кругах и не выходили на всеукраинский уровень, оставшись на страницах форумов, давно канувших в Лету.
